Boston

(9/31/00-10/1/00)

We went to Boston on this weekend.   Boston is around 4 and a half hours from New York (Penn station)by Amtrak.   In Japan, express trains usually have reserved seats but Amtrak ain't have those.  So we had go to a car as soon as possible after the platform number was indicated on electric board.  The trains went through forest and sometimes stopped at big towns.  South station is very simple compared with Penn station.

First we visited the Boston museum. (I forget the official name) which is famous for Japanese collection.   We can see lots of old arts like ukiyoe, swords, Buddha, some of which can't be seen even in Japan.
